Welcome to the new website of Aaron and Jen Kerr of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. For the weblog portion of this site, I’m using software I found called iBlog , which runs on Mac OS X and integrates very nicely with what Apple refers to as iLife . Basically, iLife is the combination of iTunes, iPhoto, and iMovie. So this means if I want to stick a picture into my weblog, I just click a button and I can choose it from my iPhoto library, without even having to open the other program. Pretty cool.
This site is hosted at Global Internet Solutions . I’d never really heard of them, but they’re cheap, and the service seems to be very good so far. This server has PHP and MySQL , which I’ll use in other portions of this site for database-driven features, such as photo albums and Jen’s recipes.
