“Moo Moo’s” and Froggy Tales

Lately I’ve been making a lot of fruit smoothies in the blender, which Kayla appropriately calls “moo moo’s.”  Tonight I asked Kayla if she’d like a smoothie, and she flipped out with excitement.

A Trip to Midland

This weekend we had the opportunity to travel to Midland, Michigan.  Aaron had a Discovering Vocation Conference for Alma College, and Kayla and I were able to go along and have fun!

And then there are days …

Staying home with Kayla is great, but I don’t want to give the impression that we don’t have our share of challenging days.  Today was one of them.

Brushing Teeth

This morning, as usual, I brushed Kayla’s teeth. We always count them as we brush them (that way I can get in her mouth longer), and then she gets a turn. Well, this morning something interesting happened.

Kayla’s sentences

When Kayla wakes in the morning, she always has lots to say. She usually spends a good 10 minutes telling me about all sorts of things. Read on for more.

Bagels

Today I used my bread machine to make homemade bagels for the first time.  It was a fun adventure!

Weekly photos

Since Kayla was two weeks old, I’ve tried to take her picture each week so we can document her growth and changes. Lately, however, it’s been a bit more challenging.

A Trip to the Library

Kayla and I went to the library today for the Lapsit Storytime. It’s for children 24 months and under, and we had a really fun time.

Kerrspot.com 2.0 Up and Running

Hello friends and family. After plenty of delays and a lot of hard work, we finally have our new website up and running. You’ll definitely notice a new visual design to the site; hopefully that is a welcome change.
