Labor & Delivery
When one of my friends visited us in the hospital, she asked for the “short story” on my labor and delivery with Madeline. Well the entire story is pretty brief, since my labor only lasted about 2 1/2 hours. (more…)

Meet Madeline, born today, April 19 at 6:18am. She was 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and 20 inches long. Baby and Mommy are both doing fantastic. Jen feels very blessed to have the labor over in just under three hours. And we are excited about the new addition to our family. More…of course…to follow.


I technically have 12 days left, but I joked with Aaron last night that it’s time to have the baby because I have so little to wear! (more…)

I have a new cell phone/pda that takes pictures and gives me internet access from anywhere, so I’ve gotta try this. I just snapped a picture of flowers on campus and am attempting to post this to my blog via email from my phone. Enjoy!
Today I took Kayla for a walk in the stroller. As usual, she was chatting about all sorts of things, when all of the sudden she said, “Kayla loves Jesus.” (more…)
Ahh … the walls for the baby’s room are finally painted! Aaron spent a lot of time priming and painting this weekend, and the room looks great. Two of the walls are yellow, and two are light blue. (more…)
