2 Months Old, Spanish, and other stuff

Madeline is 2 months old today!  She’s starting to stay awake and be happy for longer periods of time, and for the most part, she’s napping better during the day.  Except for right now, of course.  Kayla is actually napping today–her first nap since last Monday!  Unfortunately I can’t quite seem to get the girls to nap at the same time, but that’s ok.  I definitely don’t expect it.  Anyway, here is a picture of Madeline from this morning.

Kayla is doing really well these days, too.  Last week she suddenly took an interest in learning Spanish.  She has about three words so far:  cachorros (puppies), mas (more), and adios (good bye).  Here is a recent picture of Kayla.

We had a relatively relaxing weekend at home.  We didn’t really accomplish much besides the usual changing of diapers, making meals, doing laundry and that sort of thing.  But it was good to be together as a family.  As Kayla says, “best buddies stick gether (together).”  That’s like our family motto or something.  :)

Madeline certainly doesn’t look like she has missed too many meals. :) Is that hair really red or just the way it looks on the website? Wow Kayla had pigtails? Was she able to leave them in? Good job on the Spanish Kayla.

    Love,
