Quote of the Day
“If evolution really works, how come mothers only have two hands!” –Milton Berle
Three hands would be wonderful, but lately I’ve been thankful for two. Sometimes you don’t appreciate things until you don’t have them anymore. A few months ago, one of my children accidently bent my thumb the wrong way. Things that used to be easy–changing diapers, opening jars, picking up a stack of books–now cause me pain. I’ve had to make many adjustments, but at least it’s still possible to do most of the tasks I need to do. Thank you, Lord, for two hands, even if one doesn’t work perfectly. Anyway, I loved this quote and thought I’d share it with you. 🙂
What a Smile!
I’ve written dozens of entries in my head over the past couple weeks, but I still haven’t found a way to get my thoughts to the web without actually sitting down at the computer. (Something I don’t find a lot of time for these days, no surprise there.) I’m keeping a list of my ideas, so hopefully I’ll post more soon. For now, here is a picture of beautiful Madeline, taken a month ago at a birthday party.
