Wisdom from Caroline Ingalls
On November 15, 1881, Ma Ingalls wrote this in Laura’s autograph book:
If wisdom’s ways you wisely seek,
Five things observe with care,
To whom you speak,
Of whom you speak,
And how, and when, and where
Your loving mother,
